On the 2nd of October GRC Tri held its first (of hopefully many) Junior Aquathlon ay West Calder High School. After a week of rain building up to the evnt it was with some releif to find a parting in the skies for the Saturday morning to allow the some 60 competitors the chance to enjoy some October sun.

GRC were well represented on home turf with no fewer than 9 members across the various age groups with Calum the pick of the bunch with a third place finish in the competitve 9-10 year old category.

Overall though the race went well with no major incidents to report bar one slightly over excited dog! The club would therefore like to extend a big thank you to all who were invovled in some capacity... it's too long a list to name but you all know who you are! Hopefully the event shall return again next year and build upon the success enjoyed this year... we hope to see you there.
